I am currently investigating the merits of filing a class action lawsuit against Lucre, Inc., for knowingly aiding Bank Card Services in violating state and federal telephone consumer protection acts and state and federal do not call lists.
Upon information and belief, Lucre, Inc. has been informed by multiple consumers that Bank Card Services is using Lucre’s telephone services to harass consumers. Upon information and belief, Lucre, Inc. has been informed on multiple occasions that Bank Card Services is using Lucre’s telephone services to repeatedly telephone consumers who are on the do not call list.
Upon information and belief, Lucre, Inc. has been informed by multiple consumers that Bank Card Services is using Lucre’s telephone services to harass consumers who have instructed Bank Card Services to cease all telephone communications.
Nevertheless, upon information and belief, Lucre, Inc., continues to provide telephone service to this “company” and enables this “company” to victimize consumers.
Upon information and belief, Bank Card Services is a fictitious company that intentionally operates its telephone system through Lucre’s interchange to avoid detection/punishment for violating the above-referenced federal and state laws.
Upon information and belief, Lucre, Inc., knows this and intentionally provides telephone interchange services to Bank Card Services, with the express knowledge that Bank Card Services is using those telephone services to harass consumers and violate state and federal law.

I just received a phone call and was called a "dumb ass" before they hung up. Pleasant.

Although they claim this is the final call to lower your interest rate and one can only hope, the calls continue. No offer to opt out. Spoke with a representative a long time ago, let them know I do not have a credit card to lower the interest on. Still the calls persist and now there is no way to speak with someone. My turn to persist. I will find every site I can and publish a complaint. This is simply outrageous and I am on a "no call" list that apparently isn't working.
Ditto here. It says they have information about my credit card. When I hit "1" to talk to somebody, she asked if I was calling to "take advantage of these great rates" and hung up immediately when I said no. I didn't even get the chance to ask questions.
I have done a little research on the issue. From what I have found through a local chamber of commerce in Michigan is that they have had several complaints about the company and they have no information on it. I have also called Lucre, Inc. which carries the number (616) 613-2229. They confirmed the number was serviced by them but would not divulge if it belonged to BANKCARD Services. The better business bureau lists the company Bank Card Services in Zeeleand, Michigan but it is not affiliated with them.
Report them to your attorney general in your state. From what little I have dealt with them, I think they are in violation of telemarketer laws. I didn't even get finished asking them to remove my number before they hung up on me.
