Thank you for leaving the Adler number. I called and told them to remove me from their list.
Called and left no msg.
Get calls from this number. They don't answer and when they do, they talk about my husband's free subscription to a magazine he pays in advance for and has for YEARS.
They want his personal Information. A bunch of Indians call who can barely speak English.
She hung up before I could get my husband on the phone. They always call when we are swamped at work. We are tired of the harassment from all telemarketers. It should be against the law to call people period unless you sign up to be called by these people.
They're hired to call to renew subscriptions to trade magazines. We subscribe to about 13 different trade publications, and they call when it's time to renew. They never "scam" us, just verify the name and mailing info and that's it. Some of the mags are expensive, so sometimes they want more in-depth info to make sure you or your company qualify to get the mags for free. If you don't subscribe to any trade pubs, then it's probably one of two or three things: 1) Someone who used to have your number before you did subscribe, 2) Someone entered a random fake number when subscribing so they wouldn't get these calls and it happened to be your number, or 3) Someone used your number on purpose instead of their own, most likely because they think it's funny or they just don't like you.
SCAMMERS. CROOKS. BASTARDS. SCUMBAGS.
Calls then hangs up.
