Received a call today on my cell phone. caller ID says call is from Mexico, but someone with a hindi accent was talking. I said to remove me from the list and the person got upset.
Same as above on me!! How can they keep doing this?? Doesn't anyone track where the call is coming from when it's reported?
just got a call from this number. when i called back, got a ?recorded? message
indicating that i was calling into a conference call asking for my "conference id"
They hang up or lower my rates in my credit cards. I don't have any cards. Scam!
Prerecorded message when I answered. There was an option to press 1 to continue but no option to be removed from the calling list. When I was connected with a real person, he claimed he had no way to remove me from the calling list. He also had access to my Expedia credit report and said that my responding to the automated message constituted permission for him to access my information. When I asked for his supervisor, he said she was "busy." I said I would wait, and asked him for the name of his company so that I could file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. At that point he hung up on me. When I tried to call back the number, 316-300-0000, it rang and rang and was never picked up by anyone.

Card Service...lower my rates! Amazing...considering I haven't had a credit card since the 1990s. They have called numerous times. Try to get removed from their list and they hang up. Tell them you don't have a credit card and they curse you and hang up. (I ignored the calls for a couple of months hoping they would stop before I decided to answer them). Fast talking scammers trying to get your credit card info.
