Similar to other recent calls for free Medical Alert alarms, but this robo call has a new twist. Opens with an offer for free $3,000 in grocery certificates before getting to the point about a "free" medic alarm bracelet or necklace. Of course they ignore the Federal Do Not Call list, which certainly tells you something about their business practices, doesn't it?

"Senior citizens, pay close attention to the following message. If you or a family member are 60 years or older, you now qualify under the National Senior Assistance Program to receive $3,000 in free grocery savings certificates. They can be used at over one hundred major grocery chains across the US. In addition to your $3,000 in savings certificates you will receive a free emergency medic alert bracelet or necklace. This medical alert device is designed to save your life if you ever experience a fall or any other emergencies. Press 1 now to speak to a representative and have your $3,000 savings certificate mailed directly to you and learn more about the risk free offer. Again, press 1 now for more information. Press 5 to be removed from this ."

SCAM targeting SENIORS! Beware! They try to claim they are the "Senior Assistant Program." The FTC and FCC are investigating them. DO NOT talk to them or press "1" etc. as instructed unless you are an investigator. Luckily the scammers are so dumb that they verbally abused and hung up on someone who identified themselves as a government investigator.
