Same as Vistaman, except my call was 7 March 2013 at 11:05. I did nothing, waiting until the caller hung up.

Annoyed in Cambridgeshire
Apparently I
1. have opted in to receive updates from the financial services industry,
2. can get up to 70% of my outstanding debts over £10,000 written off,
3. should press 5 to talk to an operator who will post me an information pack, and
4. should press 9 to opt out.
First call was at 15:54 on 21 February 2013 and second call was at 16:16 on 6 March 2013.
I haven't opted in to anything and I don't have any debt. Number reported to the ICO twice.

Unsolicited nuisance caller. About time someone stepped in from government to stop these leeches calling people. As if?

Made a travel enquiry with 'Best at Travel' yesterday.
Gave mobile number and email address.
Suddenly getting unsolicited calls and emails.
Doubt very much its a coincidence.
Lessen is - if you want something - call them - don't give out details on line as they will be sold to unprincipled companies.

DO NOT PRESS 5 OR 9 - IT WILL START TO CHARGE YOU.

To add to the people who posted above,
"Ring 5" to speak... would probably activate BT's 5 - call back function, which is a paid service.
DO NOT press 5 or 9.

Phoned with recorded message 12h41, 26FEB13: Important information about writing off outdated debt; believe I have unsecured loans over £10,000; 70% can be legally written off; I've previously opted in (NOT!). Ring 5 to speak; 9 to unsub. Hung on the line till call was dropped.

Same as Steph. Politely asked for number to be taken off database and had phone slammed down.
